Overview

Fiëd-bnö Med was founded durring the late 11th century, by Beatrix Eenzin. The establishment of Fiëd-bnö Med suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Fiëd-bnö Med which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Fiëd-bnö Med was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fiëd-bnö Med is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Fiëd-bnö Med is buildings are located arround a single restrictive paverstone mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. Fiëd-bnö Med's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the city's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. The city's boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the city's defences.

A quick look in any direction shows Fiëd-bnö Med is filled with vices. There are many taverns, brothels are advertising their services on the streets, cardsharks are plying their illicit trade within public squairs, and every shop has at least three signs advertising various sales on goods. That alone wouldn’t be too noticeable, if it wasn’t just so omnipresent and overwhelmingly how the people of this city live.

Cultural Notes

Fiëd-bnö Med's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.
